This foundation was created in loving memory of my beautiful daughter, Cherish Adele Bean, and her partner, Ethan Slater.

Earlier this year Cherish and Ethan tragically lost their lives due to carbon monoxide poisoning whilst on holiday in the UK. Cherish was 15 years old and Ethan was 17 years old.

In a single moment, our world changed forever.

No words can truly describe the heartbreak of losing a child. The grief that follows is something no parent should ever have to endure.

Since losing Cherish and Ethan, we have searched for a way not only to survive this pain, but to ensure their lives continue to mean something.

The Cherish & Ethan Forever Foundation has become that purpose.

This foundation exists to turn unimaginable heartbreak into awareness, prevention and profound, effective change.

Our mission is to raise awareness surrounding carbon monoxide safety, to educate families and communities regarding carbon monoxide poisoning symptoms and illness, and to help prevent other families from experiencing the devastation that ours has endured.

We intend to take Cherish and Ethan’s story to Parliament and beyond. We hope to campaign for stronger legislation and improved regulation surrounding carbon monoxide monitoring and safety measures within holiday accommodation, staycations, holiday lets and Airbnb properties.
